Insurance World of Gainesville got its start in 1980, after which our current owner, Victor Hazy, bought it in 1985. He began his career in the early 1980s as an agent for MetLife^®. While there, he received excellent training, but soon realized that many of his co-workers did not meet their underwriting goals. This experience prompted him to leave and then purchase this agency. Now, he offers auto insurance and other policies at competitive rates for everyone. His other activities include hosting a 30-minute radio show on Magic 101.com and 101.4 starting October 1st; it will air every Monday at 2 p.m. and will include different insurance policies. He also holds monthly classes for seniors to learn about Medicare.
